BIG SCHOOL (Book 1)

This is a Six Book sequence of comic events largely based around 11 years old Robbie and his newly-found friends as they all go up to Big School in September and how they survive the comic trials, through battles with bullies, an annoying sister, rubbing shoulders with the highest in the land and conflicts with aliens
The series, aimed at 10 to 14 year olds, hopefully will allay most of the concerns surrounding the big adventure of moving up the the Big School.




BIG SCHOOL OUTLINE ..........Born from an interest of kids' television, as long ago as the late 1960s, G Kim Daniels began thinking of short TV scripts which eventually led to the birth of 'Robbie Salvage'. and the six-book series we have here. However, as it happened, Robbie was interrupted by "The Errand Boy", an even earlier idea, that first saw life in TV script format. But, the page-turning of a short storybook also made more sense and became the first book G Kim published. In the meantime, Robbie had raised his head once again and "Big School" and "Scruffy" were re-formatted as short books. It did not take long before crazy new plots followed to complete the set of six books, with "Egbert Farthing" bringing the end of Year Seven's school year to a close and happily, leaving Robbie and Dylan relatively unscathed. Now on a roll, other short stories, this time for younger readers in the form of bedtime-readers featuring Owen Bunny, are on their way. Watch this space.
